ETBF Education Committee proudly announces that we will have our first International Coaching Clinic for Level One Coaches between 7 and 12 May 2010. After running many National Clinics in different countries, ETBF cooperates with its Official Training Center, Kuortane Bowling Training Center to host the first scheduled International Clinic for all of our Federations.

After the decision of moving the 3rd EBT Masters from Vienna to Aalborg was taken, all 32 participants were asked to reconfirm their participation for the new dates, which is 31 May and 1 June 2010 in Lovvang Bowling Centre. All 32 qualified players (16 women and 16 men) have over the last couple of weeks reconfirmed their participation, and no excuses were given - all 32 qualified will participate.

The annual membership due is divided in three portions: - A membership due for FIQ - A membership due for WTBA - A membership due for ETBF
The membership dues are all in one invoice sent out by FIQ. Dues have to be paid to FIQ latest 31 March each year.

Since 1997 Russian Federation of Sports Bowling has arranged the participation of the Russian bowlers at all the main official tournaments and championships on tenpin bowling (FIQ/WTBA/ETBF). Thus, AMF World Cup in 1997 (Cairo, Egypt) became the official international start for Russians. By the October of 2009, Russian bowlers took part at more than 50 official tenpin bowling events.

The winners of European Champions Cup 2007 are Marco Reviglio (Italy) and Ingunn Oien (Norway).
Men’s podium: Gold: Marco Reviglio (Italy); Silver: Thomas Gross (Austria); Bronze: Roger Oberg (Sweden) and Petteri Salonen (Finland).
Women’s podium: Gold: Ingunn Oien (Norway); Silver: Therese Forsell (Sweden); Bronze: Patricia Klug (Austria) and Isabelle Saldjian (France).

By the beginning of September 21st all the participants of European Champions Cup have already bowled 16 games. The tournament leaders are the bowlers from Norway – Mads Sandbaekken among the men and Ingunn Oien among the ladies.

QubicaAMF has announced that the 46th Bowling World Cup will not be held in Zagreb, Croatia, but in Toulon, on the French Riviera, from October 15-24, 2010. Toulon lies on the western end of the Cote d'Azur on the Mediterranean.

ETBF celebrated a true Silver Jubilee to day, Saturday 3 July 2010, since the President in ETBF, Addie Ophelders, was elected for his first term in the Presidium, in those days as Vice President, for precisely 25 years ago.

Grand Final of the Russian Individual Bowling Championship (RIBC) and Team Championship was held in Saint-Peterburg at the 48-lanes bowling center Leader. Qualifying ran from Feb. 16 through Feb. 21 and ended with the ultimate finals on Feb. 22.

For the second consecutive year, the World Sports Festival was held in Vienna, Austria, with the tenpin bowling events being contested at Brunswick Bowling Hernals. Russian bowlers captured 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze medals!
