Parshukov and Tsarkova to represent Russia in 43rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup (29.10.2007)
Alexey Parshukov and Evgenia Tsarkova (both from Ekaterinburg, Ural) won the Russian Bowling World Cup qualifier and will represent their country in the 43rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup at Continent Bowling Center in St. Petersburg, Russia, from November 3-11, 2007.
Parshukov totaled 8187 pins and averaged 227,4 for his 36 games. The participation in the 43rd QubicaAMF World Cup will be the first official international bowling competition for him, but in 2007 Alexey successfully participated in European Bowling Tour. Thus, in recent Ankara Open he finished on 11th place.
The victory of Evgenia Tsarkova in the Russian Bowling World Cup qualifier was quite unexpected since she was not among the leaders of the women's division during first two days of competition. But Evgenia did her best at the last day, and after 6 six-game blocks she had the highest pinfall - 7367 (average 204,6).
It won't be the Trarkova's debut in the QubicaAMF World Cup. In 2006 she represented Russia in Carakas, Venezuela - she finished there on 23rd place with 6530 total and average of 204,58.
